What is an Ofqual regulated qualification and why does it matter?
Ofqual is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation. It is the government body that regulates qualifications in England. An Ofqual regulated qualification means your certificate is nationally recognised, held to a regulated standard, and carries weight beyond the beauty industry. It is recognised in colleges, by employers, and internationally in a way that industry-only accreditation is not.
Do I need teaching experience to enrol?
No. The Beauty Educators System™ is suitable for complete beginners. You do not need a prior teaching qualification or experience. You do need at least 12 months of experience in the beauty treatment you want to teach and to be 19 years of age or older.
How is this different from the Accredited Educator Acceleration?
The Accredited Educator Acceleration is TBP's industry-accredited beauty teaching course, ideal for those who want to launch their academy quickly with industry recognition. The Beauty Educators System™ is an Ofqual-regulated qualification, nationally regulated and recognised beyond the beauty industry, including in colleges and internationally. It also formally qualifies you to assess students, not just teach them.
How does assessment work?
Assignments are submitted by full unit. You complete all the work within a unit and submit it together for marking. Your tutor will provide detailed written feedback. Once your unit is approved you progress to the next one. This ensures your learning is properly embedded before you move forward.
How long does it take to complete?
The average completion time is 4 months. You have 12 months of access from your start date to complete the programme at a pace that works for you.
What happens if I need more than 12 months?
If you need more time beyond your 12 months of access you can extend for a one-off fee of £49. To request an extension please email us at admin@trustedbeautyprofessionals.com and we will get that sorted for you.
How does accreditation work?
Once your courses are submitted and approved by TBP, your accreditation begins from the date of approval, not your enrolment date. Your accreditation lasts for 12 calendar months before it needs to be renewed. From the moment your courses are approved your students can gain insurance and your academy is recognised across the industry.
When does my Educator Development Hub access begin?
Your 12 months of Educator Development Hub access begins from your accreditation approval date, not your enrolment date. This means you receive a full year of support once your academy is up and running.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. A payment plan is available at checkout. Select the monthly payment option when you enrol.
What treatments can I teach?
Any beauty treatment you have at least 12 months of experience in. The course is not treatment-specific so you can accredit courses across multiple treatments.
What if the programme is not right for me?
