What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a mandatory requirement for all training courses. It is recognition that your courses adhere to the highest industry standards. It allows your students to gain insurance for their skills.

This is renewed every year similar to insurance.

Why Do I Need Accreditation?

Accreditation is what allows your students to gain insurance. You must have this to offering training in any new skill. Accreditation is not needed for masterclasses being delivered to already qualified technicians.

How Does Accreditation Work?

Accreditation is a relatively quick process. If you have all of your course materials ready it can take as little as a week from submission to approval. Although, in busy periods this can take up 14 working days to be approved.

How Often Do I Need Accreditation?

Accreditation must be renewed once a year. We recommend starting the renewal process at least 7 days before your expiry for a seamless transition. You can renew here.

How Many Educators Can I Include?

TBP offers flexibility to all our accredited academies. Providing all educators are qualified and will be delivering course using the same materials you can them on. Each additional educator will be checked and held to TBP's high standards. Additional educators are charged at £49 per educator (£25 at renewal)

How Many Courses Can I Accredit?

You can accredit as many courses as you wish. Our accreditation plans are flexible and grow with your business. We price per course allowing us to offer competitive accreditation plans.

All TBP accredited educators are able to add on additional courses throughout their accreditation year. This service incurs a £25 admin fee.

I Am Currently Accredited With Another Provider, Can I Switch?

Yes! You can actually pay our renewal fee rather than setting up as a new academy! We will ask you for all of your accreditation documents to ensure your courses meet our standards.

Can My Students And I Gain Insurance With Your Accreditation?

YES! We have partnered with leading industry insurers to offer you and your students insurance. You can see them under our partners tab.

Do You Accredit the AET?

We do accredit the Level 3 Award in Education and Training providing educators hold a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

If you do not have a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training and have completed a privately accredited Level 3 AET then our train the trainer acceleration is the perfect next step.
