How Do I Become An Educator?

To become a beauty trainer you need a MINIMUM of ONE years experience in your chosen skill.

What Steps Do I Need To Take?

TO START OFFERING COURSES:

  1. You need a teaching qualification. Our Level 3 Beauty Educators Qualification nationally recognised.
  2. You also need to gain educators insurance. This can usually be acquired through your existing insurance provider. Alternatively, check out our insurance partners.
  3. Finally you need to apply to accredit your courses. If you have you are starting from scratch our bestselling 'Train2Train Bundle' is perfect for you. If you already have your AET, check out our accreditation plans.

Beauty Educators Qualification

What Is The Beauty Educators Qualification?

The Level 3 Beauty Educators Award is an internationally recognised teaching qualification tailored specifically to the beauty industry. It is equivalent to the Level 3 AET) allowing you to train complete beginners in your expertise.

What Are The Prerequisites?

To become a beauty trainer you need a MINIMUM of ONE years experience in your chosen skill.

How Long Does The Course Take?

The course is 100% online with 24/7 support which means you can work at your own pace. We recommend the course is completed within 12 weeks and is planned as such.

The time it takes varies based on your current responsibilities and priorities. Students do have access to the course for 6 months from the date of purchase. Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances.

Does Everyone Pass?

The course currently has a 100% pass rate. In some cases we will ask for additional assignments to ensure you fully understand the course material and are ready to go out and teach the next generation of industry experts.

Accreditation

What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a mandatory requirement for all training courses. It is recognition that your courses adhere to the highest industry standards. It allows your students to gain insurance for their skills.

This is renewed every year similar to insurance.

Why Do I Need Accreditation?

Accreditation is what allows your students to gain insurance. You must have this to offering training in any new skill. Accreditation is not needed for masterclasses being delivered to already qualified technicians.

What Does Up To 'X Amount Of Courses' mean?

This refers to the number of different courses you can offer.


There is no restriction on the number of students you can train.

How Does Accreditation Work?

Accreditation is a relatively quick process. If you have all of your course materials ready it can take as little as a week from submission to approval. Although, in busy periods this can take up 14 working days to be approved.

How Much Is Renewal?

Renewals are discounted between £25-£150 depending on the number of courses you offer. We offer renewal guarantee which means your renewal will be the same price every single year regardless of any increases we undergo.

I Am Currently Accredited With Another Provider, Can I Switch?

Yes! You can actually pay our renewal fee rather than setting up as a new academy! We will ask you for all of your accreditation documents to ensure your courses meet our standards.
